Requesting a venue quote. When you submit the venue quote form, we process the details you provide — such as your name, work email, venue name and type, location, and message — in order to respond to your enquiry and prepare a quote (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, steps taken prior to entering into a contract, and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries). The submission is delivered to us by email through our email provider.
Using the Pyro app and service. To provide the Service we process account data (such as your email address), the parties you host or join, and the votes you cast. If you connect a Spotify account, we access that account through the Spotify Web API to control playback for your party; we never receive or store your Spotify password. This processing is necessary to perform our contract with you (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
Email verification and communication. We may send a verification code to an email address you provide, together with service-related messages, in order to operate the Service securely.
Subscriptions and payments. Consumer subscriptions are billed and processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play under their own terms; venue subscriptions are billed under the agreement you enter into with us. We do not receive or store full payment card details.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (Der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).

What we process and why
Visiting the website. When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data sent by your browser — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the date and time of the request — in server log files. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably (legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in a functioning, secure website). The website also loads web fonts from Adobe Fonts; in doing so, your IP address is transmitted to Adobe so the fonts can be delivered.Requesting a venue quote.
